My '38 McCormick-Deering F14 generally starts good in the cold. I let it set a bit too long this last time, took quite a while to start it, but if I run it every couple of weeks, it'll usually start in 3-4 cranks. Keeping it in tune is the key. Of course, my rebuilt magneto probably doesn't hurt either...
