i broke an axle in the final drive on my fox 6250 chopper. does anyone know of yards that are parting out fox choppers? so far, i've come up empty for a repair axle.
the final drive is a rockwell, model S 1450 9 KX. i would guess from the plate it was built in january '79.
my usual parts source said the differential/transmission might be the same as a Gleaner F2. i wonder if the F2 has final drives? i checked the 715 and massey 510 combines and they don't have the same drive.
any help would be appreciated. we just started chopping corn. just another day in paradise.
