My Oliver 66 had been sitting in the shed since I put the corn planter away. When I parked it the float was sticking so I took the carb off and cleaned it before I started it this time. Before I put the gas line back on,I opened the shutoff to let a little gas out. All I got was a hissing and a little bubbling sound. It kept on for quite a while and I thought it was blowing out. I put my finger over it and it was sucking air IN. It never did quite quit til I loosened the cap. Must have been sealed up pretty tight to cause that much vaccum.
