Hi George, When I said plumbing I ment the way all the system is hooked up, lines, hoses, valves, etc:. Sounds like the way it's plumed is high pressure is getting into the low pressure return thus blowing out the filter because of the the high pressure. You will need to know what kind of valves you have, open center, closed center, relief valves, check valves, etc: This will to big of a project for me at this time as I'm helping two youngesters via e-mail make tractor repairs. A good book on the subject is IT book #IT201 "Lets Get Into Hydraulics". This book also covers farm equipment electrical systems. T_Bone
