Earlier this spring, i was riding around the hills near where my great-grandperents farm used to be, when i found what was left of a super WD-9. I went back a few days later, parked the pickup on the side of the road, and walked in to look at the tractor. While i was looking the tractor over, the owner of the field i was in drove up and asked what was i doing. I told him i was looking at this tractor. He askes if i was interested in that tractor. i say i am. he goes on to tell me that he has another just like it accross the field in onother lineup of old michinery. he says this one is complete and ran when parked. he says if i buy one, i have to take the other with. i go look at the other Super WD-9, and it is complete except for the battery box. the owner said the motor was unstuck, so i put the crank on it, nothing budges. i am a little discoureged at this, but i was still intrested in this pair of Farmall Super WD-9 tractors. I go to his house later, and ask what would he want for both of them. He says $2500. I dont think two tractors that are stuck, one not even complete, are worth 2500! i still like the tractors, what should i do?
