I learned the hard way years ago that each ring needs to be put in the hole its going to be working in and the end clearance/ring gap check before the rings are put on the piston to be installed in any kit. Its all in the details. A lot of the details are only learned the hard way even when they have been spelled out before hand.
tuff break but the only way to get the answer to your question is to take it apart and start over checking all of the clearances on each part no mater how small.
