Sam, I'm a bit confused why you would want to paint or coat the inside of a tranny housing. Also, you sound like there was already a coating in there before you had it hot tanked. Never heard of such a thing myself, I would say you are setting yourself up for a big problem later, but maybe somebody else knows what you're referring to. What kind of a tractor are you fixing up?
