Out here on the west coast a Hay Press is where you take your 1000 lb bales and have them pressed to half their size. There is one in Aurora, OR just north of me. They also do the small bales for the local feed stores. You walk in see this small half size bale and when you pick it up you find it weighs 80 lbs. Walt
