I went to a sale today and bought a Roorda spreader, I had to pull it about 45 miles home, I ran out of grease before I got the wheels done so OI stopped at Manley and asked if I could buy a tube or get a dozen pumps for the wheels. Trudy went to the shop, the mech. came up with a tube and wanted $3.00 a tube for grease of about 1/2 the quality of the grease I buy for less, she then showed up with a grease gun and said if you use a few shots she would still have to charge me, I asked how much, she didn't know so I left. I know you are thinking I am a tight a$$ but I have bought a few sets of pickup and some front and rear tractor tires. I am pretty sure they made at least $3.00 profit from my purchases. If some one stopped at my farm I would give them some, it wouldn't break me and it would help them out. I don't need to buy tires from them and won't anymore. Ok I vented, thanks for listening!
