The pully halves move apart and together. Locked by screws around the hub. There are spiral slots that the moveable half of the pully rides in. Look and you will see. As I said, usually they are rusted/stuck. I suppose it is possible you have a different disign, however my parts book says WDs and 45s both had the same pully, as did WCs for that matter I think. You can e mail me direct if you want. t4444k@verizon.net Changing the diameter of the pully by changing the pully flange distance apart will slightly change the fan/pump speed, but don't worry about that.
