Take a short piece of an old hay rope and put one end into the oil and the other end in a clean bucket. You may have to raise the oil filled bucket a bit, but the oil will transfer from one bucket to another and the rope will filter it. Not good for use in engines or transmissions, but makes good squirt gun oil.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
