The majority of 600-16 3 rib tires are tubetype. I have seen a few that are tubeless but most of the old wheels need a tube anyhow. As the front tires get bigger then there are more of them are tubeless. Your dealer well might have meant that he didn't know of any 600-16 tires that are tubeless.
$150 for two 600-16 Titans would be a good deal. Not a great deal but a good deal. I think I get around $85 for them.
