Have been to Custer with the two oldest kids a LONG time ago. Spent the whole day there, watched the bissen and had a great day. This was our last day and I didnt want to drive back the interstate so I went out the south gate and though I would go south and catch HWY 20 in Ne. Drove for a while on a nice paved road then is turned to gravel some where on the reservation. Some pretty county in places, no other cars and an abandon home site or to. Did alot of praying that the old van with a TON of miles was gonna make it! Found the hwy again and got into Whiteclay, found the American flag flying upside down! (this was when there was alot of dispute about selling liquor on the resorvation) Sure enough I have both the kids tell me they HAVE to go potty! NOT HERE YOU DONT! Was glad to find HWY 20!

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
