I've always thought it odd that the biggest two "crooks" in our community - and they were known pretty much far and wide - were the first and loudest to holler if anything ever happened to them!!
I know one of them one time was telling everyone at the coffee shop he'd had some engines "stolen"... What was this world coming to? etc, etc...
Come to find out - the rest of the story was - he'd stiffed the machine shop that had overhauled them for him - and they had just come to repossess them...
Some folks are never pleased no matter how far you bend...
