Camera is in good shape and ready to go my sanity on the other hand....... NOT looking forward to harvesting into the month of December but it is almost a sure thing at this point. Hoping we dont find out what it is like to harvest in January! No one has made any real progress so I guess we are all in the same mess. Doesnt make me feel much better. I try to think about all the stories my great grandfather told me about the challenges they faced all those years ago. He farmed through two world wars, the deppresion, wet years and droughts. He knew adversity. Told a friend the other day that I was "trying not to freak out about not being able to harvest." Tell you the truth somedays are better than others right now. Just trying to keep busy and be ready to run when we can. I will be very happy when we are finished and we can start thinking of 2010 and forget 2009 ever happened. Yea it looks like next week could be the first break in the weather in almost a month. Watching the series right now. Gets the mind thinking of other things.
