Brad Going south on 39 from Beloit there is a toll barrier 3 miles into Il. Big rigs cost .25 per axle, so cars/p-ups must be around .50, have attendants there. Have a couple dollar bills handy, they grumble a bit if they have to make change for a 50 or 100. The Rockford get-off does NOT have attendants, just a change basket. Toss coins in basket & wait for green light. Will accept any coins, but takes machine longer to count if you throw in pennies. Rates may have gone up a nickel since i was last through there. Watch the signs for amount & which lane to use. Westbound on 88 there is a barrier with attendant at the Dixon area. Don't remember the cost there,or whether there is another barrier at the west end of tollway. HTH Willie
