The V465 is a lot larger engine, and not directly interchangeable. The VG4D would be closer, but there might still be space problems.
The flathead Wisconsin engines such as the TE,TF, VE, VF, VH, and VG engines all used a different head for factory LP. The same head could be used on Gasoline engines for high-altitude operation. So the answer is that the pistons are the same. The V465 and other overhead valve engines did not have a high-compression option, as far as I know.
