The Flu shot is a killed virus as John S B stated. No one gets the flu from a killed virus despite the BS that gets posted. You will get an immune response from the shot, that is what it needs to do to build immunity. Some may get a larger immune response than others or may have been exposed to the flu or common cold and experience those symptoms. No one is forced to get a flu shot, individual decision.
