I'm looking for a carb part for a customers IH 2000 industrial tractor (supposed to be the same as a 2424 tractor I'm told). The carb is a Marvel Schebler TSX-896 and what I need is the main nozzle. The basic rebuild kits are easy to get but I'm having no luck so far finding either a nozzle alone or find it in a more complete rebuild kit. As it stands now his came unscrewed and got itself sucked up and lodged under the intake valve on #2. How the that engine was sucking hard enough to pull a piece of brass up out of the carb and at exactly the right angle to get it where it did is a mystery to me. He did say that when it quit running it was after it had "run away" with him so I know the engine was at FULL throttle and drinking all it could drink. Even then I wouldn't have thought it would have had enough suction to pull the nozzle up and in like that.
I might be able to get his straightened out and get the threads fixed in order to reuse it, if I have to, but would rather find a new or good used one if possible.
Anybody have one or know where I can get one it would be greatly appreciated. My email is Nota55nomad@ctc.net Thanks, Wayne
