To me the worst part was the wait. Mine was to the point I could not put ant weight on it without falling. I had to walk straight legged. I had quit hobby farming and a lot of other things. A week after it was done I was setting on the M. I had it done in October and started farming again the next spring. I can run, jump, and do all the other things I am not supposed too, but I don't do those things often. My best advise when you get it done is keep moveing. I was in a hospital room at 7:00pm and walking on it at 9:00pm. I used a walker for one day, a single crutch for one day, and a cane for a little while after that. My new one bend just as far as my OEM one, and I can walk three miles in 45 minutes. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I am guessing you are a little older than me because I was only 37 when I had it done, but if you haven't lost much range of motion (I didn't) you should be going in no time. Good luck.
