I've got an 1995 F-250 with 7.3L turbocharged diesel. Used to get 15mpg, empty. Somewhere between 10 and 12 mpg with a load, depending on conditions. I haven't checked the fuel economy this year, but we used to be pretty good with that kind of record keeping.
