I don't worry about trusses if they're made correctly. What I don't like is the use of chipboard as a substitute for structural material. The biggest problem with those things is that they have no thermal mass and if they are exposed to fire they burn through an collapse very quickly leading to a complete structural collapse... Using dimentional lumber you have a margin of error... and it also takes a lot more fire to get the structure burning.
