wd seems to not be firing (open points with screw driver and no spark),yet with ign. switch on and points closed I can put the red lead of a volt meter on the wire comming from the ign. switch and test full voltage to either terminal of the coil and to the terminal on the dist. housing, the points and the plate the points attach to. Rotate the engine where the points are open there is no voltage reading at the terminals I mentioned but there is voltage to the plate the points attach to. Why isn't there fire across the points when the engine is cranking? Is something grounding out or shorting out? help appreciated
