Probably right. Having some one do the work is like pulling hens teeth. I dont go for a mouth full of gimmie and a hand full of much obligued. Had work to be done several years ago, and local excavators promised to show up for estimate. Didn't happen so I bought a TD 18 and did it myself. Things havn't changed much around here. The work I need done wouldn't take more then 6 hrs total. I know that there is a great deal of expense in loading, hauling, and working a piece of equiptment,Maby they wanted 2 days work or more, rather then small potatoes. who knows. Any way it would be nice to have a small machine available when needed. I just don't want to make a crawler/dozer out of our 706 /722 bobcat. Sure hoping I'm not chasing a will-o-the whisp. Thanks for your reply, Gonna keep looking for something close by and in need of engine work. Reguards LOU.
