It really depends on the model, some JD's are bad and some IH's are bad. You can't say all of a companys tractors are bad because of one model. If you can't choose beetween Jd and IH than flip a coin and use that tractor and if you don't like it get the other brand's comparable model. They all have their strong and weak points, glitches. I like Case,JD,IH,AC all about the same. Some models better than others. I don't talk trash about anyones tractor, even if I think it's junk I keep my mouth shut and RESPECT THEIR favorite brand. I am sick of people calling people who sell JD (JD stands for) Junk-Dealers or IH International-Headache or AC All-Crap etc. Like someone said this is a never-ending battle like Chevy-Verses-Ford. I like Dodge myself. There is just opinions not proof that one is better than the other,same goes for tractors. I don't think this board has enough capasity to handle the responses from JD vs.IH.
