Does anybody remember the story of chicken little? She asked for help, but nobody helped her. But when the bread was done, everybody wanted a piece.
Here is the problem. If everybody wants a piece, they need to work for their piece. The president's idea that if you give a little bit more to help somebody else is all well and good. Most of us do this anyway. We just don't want to be forced to do it.
When push comes to shove is that we have gotten to a situation where many think they just deserve a piece of the pie, regardless if they planted, watered, harvested, prepared or baked the pie.
My mom had a saying, too many chiefs, not enough indians. Seems that is what the govt has become. They all want to tell us we need to give more, but I don't see them giving at all.
