Hi Billie, any of the non-electronic Bosch pumps can run pure vegetable oil with out a lubercating additive. In any event 1qt motor oil or auto tranny oil per 100gals will lube the pump. Merceades Benz did a big experiment in S.America back around 1990, as they don't have crude oil. Very interesting article. I think the test was 3million miles and half used a lube additive and half did not. There was no difference in pump and injector ware. Their test vehicles were heavy trucks, busses, autos, etc. Power was a tad less but other than that it was a big success. Most of the bio-diesel websites I've been too, are using used vegetable oils and it has to be cleaned. T_Bone
