dick, unfortunately, i didnt get a chance to see if the tractor ran. customer stopped by the shop, wanted it painted, he disassembled it and took it to the sandblaster, we picked the tractor up from there. when i originally talked to him he said the tractor runs good and doesnt smoke. never thought to ask him how long ago it ran. the only good thing is the tractor has been stored in a heated shop. just gonna have to leave er soak a while and hope it breaks loose. i 'll get in there with a bore scope like hal said and see what the valves look like. this one may yet come apart and take a trip to the machine shop.
