LJ, The fact that it has an 8 1/2 ft blade says it's a bull blade ( tilt/crown)because the angle dozer is 10 ft. Book says it weighs 16,450 pounds without ripper , HP is 100 gross- 87 net. They will crack a head if run hot or over fueled severly,normally not a problem. I have owned a 1000c loader since 1967 and a 1000 dozer since 1970 ,they have got to be the toughest tractors in the territory .When I was in the dirt biz back in the 60's thru early 80's all the other local contractors traded tractors at least once ,mine kept running long after they were out of biz. Anyone that says case is not easy to run or repair must have a bad case of crainal/rectal inversion as there are none that are easier to run. Being in the repair biz for the last nearly 30 years ,I have worked on many other brands and all are much more difficult to work on.
