With care of the acid, sand the surface near and at the crack. put a layer of fiberglass and polyester over the crack and sanded area. Then use nylon cable ties to hold the crack together and apply an additional layer of glass and polyester over that. Some times it requires sealing the fill openings and turning it on its side. Be careful, and nutralize all spilled acid (wear a face shield) JimN
