WOW that's a big winch I use a 3000 lb to load a full size ford pickup on my trailer. A snatch block to double the pull and you could pick it straight up. A 12000 lb winch would pick up a 12000 lb truck or tractor right off the ground. Anyway you need to check the brake system to see why its not working. Walt
