I will give my 2 cents worth on both sides of the issue.
As a Rural Mail Carrier, I much prefer to buy my gasoline at our local Sinclair station. Sinclair claims to be made from USA supplied crude oil. I can tell a little better MPG from the Sinclair, usually the same price but sometimes a penny higher.
OK, so why not buy more from Casey's? For one thing, they will jump the price by a dime or so for no reason, just to see if it will stick. Sinclair will jump price a couple hours later as they have limited fuel supply. As soon as Sinclair runs out of gas Casey's will drop back down. Used to have three gas stations in town, Casey's was successful killing the independent with this tactic.
On the plus side, they do have PayAtThePump. Just swipe the card, and get back on the road.
Our local Casey's does have non alcohol gas, as needed by Stihl and other small engines. I use gasohol in all I can, but boat, airplane, and most small engines can't use it. DOUG
