If it run you're probably looking at 500 bucks. If it works good probably handier the grand. For fencing you want something with a good rack to hold a pile of posts. You also want something low to the ground unless you're 6'4"... I did a lot of that on a 300 Honda. Now have a Can-Am Craplander (outlander) 400 and it's just too high to be usefull. Got to get off to set every post... so it just takes longer and requires more effort. Smaller is better for fencing. 4WD would be nice tho. It would have saved a lot of pounding in the mud that our 300 got... If you must go 2WD, get a good set of deep lug/bar type tires as soon as possible.
