Gene, here in auglaize 10 HP per shank will barely move it, Your soil is a bit lighter than mine, 4000 Ford rated at 52 but putting out 60 on dyno some of the ground I had would pull 5 shanks on 12" spacing ok but not on some of the other ground, That 5 shanks would possibly have worked with the 5000 in the heavier ground but never tried it at home but on the lighter ground could get by with the 7 shanks on the unit, the 5000 was too wide for the 5 shanks.
