Hi All, replying to this type of post sure tells the age. Gees bring back alot memories as a 53 Chevy was my first car. Great engine that 235 and it sure took the punishment I dished out. I couldn't keep tranny's in it doing the sliding clutch peddle trick. Burn rubber for a whole 6ft or if I soaked the tires in salt water would make a big smoke pile and gees did it sound neat with the exhaust header let down. :) It lasted me 2yrs I think before I just had to have 66 Dodge with the slant 6. I couldn't afford a V8 going to school. T_Bone

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
