I was going to wait until after 2-12-01 to report my age. Then I will be 67. I also am pleased and encouraged that there are young people interested in old iron. My "old" tractor was built the year I graduated from high school. (1951) It is not a collector per say but rather a daily driver. When you live in Wisconsin in the winter and have a 700 foot long hillside driveway a tractor and blade prove very useful. Oh yes it is a VAC Case but I am not necessarily a Case Nut but rather took advantage of a good deal in 1979 and bought it just recently reworked for $1200. I rarely take it to a show as it is painted the 1970's Case colors (buff and orange)rather than the 1950's color. Makes it look out of place in a line of orange (pardon, Flambeau red) ones. The only repairs I have had to do, are 1) rebuilt waterpump and 2) reline the brakes. Everybody, keep the faith Lew
