I had an incident on my farm yesterday...I was at the house and I heard chainsaws from the North fields and low and behold there was this guy parked on my farm cutting wood on another person's land next to me.
He supposedly had permission to cut wood from us a few years ago and took the "liberty" of using our land to access mine. I asked my Mom about this guy and she's never heard of him...told him that we don't appreciate trespassers and it was better I found him than my mom as she would have just called the cops.
Guy apologized but seriously the nerve of some people and hunting season starts next week! My favorite trespassing story was when I was in High School...we caught this guy twice in less an hour with his kid rummaging through our corn field because he didn't want the the leftover ears to be wasted on the deer. He wanted to feed the squirrels.
Like I said to the idiot yesterday, all you gotta do is ask. Worse I can tell you is no.
