Do all of them, every one, as often as the PT says do them. I had reconstruction after an accident and they had me on a less aggressive protocol than most, but more frequent. Three weeks on a passive motion machine, 20 mins on, 40 mins off using an ice water machine for 20 mins of the off time. Rest for 20. 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. After that they had me doing 10 sets of my exercises daily. Literally it was a 12 hour a day job for 6 months.
Bottom line is, find a good PT, one that talks to you and listens to you. Do what they say. Its not what you do at the clinic that helps its what you do at home. Like most things, you get out no more than you put into it.
