Ds could have turning brakes from 1936 and on. Still, they are pretty hard to find. It took me a couple years of searching to fix the brakes on our 1938 DI.
I've never seen any production numbers for Ds with turning brakes, I don't think anyone knows. The general idea is that they are pretty rare.
Do you have the two individual pedals AND the large lever, or some other arrangement? I've seen about everything. Do you have any pics? I like to see pictures of them too, just to compare small details.
