Lanse , it has been said "learn from the mistakes of others as you won't live long enough to make them all yourself" . At your age it doesn't matter what you tear into there is always someone who has been there and done that. I have learned that when something is just "unexplainable" then that is the time to bury the pride and ASK , not after you have tried the "home remedies" or the "primitive Pete" methods. Remember , a self taught student will only make it half way in his lifetime. The next 40% comes from reading , asking , watching , and doing. The last 10% comes from that in-born passion to need to take everything just a little bit past it's production line limit and do some outside the box experimentation. I guess you could call it the competetive spirit. Without it you will work in a factory for "the man". With it you will own the factory. The days of punching a clock to make a good living are gone. If you let this tractor "beat" you then you might as well find a factory where you get paid the same no matter what. Somebody in a factory some 60 yrs ago built that tractor. You have got to prove that here in 2009 , Lanse is at least as smart as that guy was. Defeat by a tractor just ISN'T an option! You have to win this one cause it doesn't get any easier in life. Thanks for listening to my rant. Randy.
