CB, you've bought back some memories that I had forgotten. Scooping ear corn from a wagon into those old wooden corn cribs years ago. In the era when we done this, I was pretty young and it seemed like for some reason I always wound up with that good old steel scoop shovel while everybody else had one of those nice aluminum jobs. Kinda the same way on the puttin up loose hay. I always got to use the three tined pitch fork. And they kept reminding me not to stick the guy on the wagon with it. As I recall, one of my earlier jobs was sitting on the wagon behind a one row Woods Bros. corn picker (I think) pulled by a F-20 Farmall. (19.6 drawbar hp for curosities sake) It picked okay but it didn't remove the husk too well and I got to shuck corn sitting on the wagon. How old was I? Well, when they switched the F-20 over to kerosene, I ran!!! L8R----Fred OH
