I own a bearcat 8 inch pto chipper, works excellent, manual feed. a very well built unit. i spent around $4000.00 for it, the same machine with power feed is around $7000.00. yes a lot of money but no more brush piles i own 50 acres of plantatation pine and cannot afford the liability of brushpiles and burning them. I power mine with a 35 hp tractor. if i was paying someone to load it i would have a power feed as it is faster. if you want a chipper/shredder bushhog makes a nice one pto driven for around $2500.00, good luck.
