Here is my similar Story ,, Met a Italian girl in 04, Married her in 05 , What a gem , ! .. anyway ,, Her son , rescued a dog on a wet cold DECEMBER morning on the way to school about 5 yrs ago . The juvinile Heinze 57 predominant Golden Retrievor had just gotten run over by a car ahead of him , Micah scooped up the injured December and handed her off to the friendly vet ,, Vet told Him the dogs injuries would cost several hundred , and it might be best to put her to sleep since it was obviously a STRAY judging from its half starved state ,, NUTHIN DOING, it will Be my Dog then! MICAH claimed ,,when , MICAH went east to college , we got to keep DECEMBER , I Have Had many GOOD DOGS in my time , Never have I seen a more LOVELY disposition in animal , She seems to have copied and emulated My wifes Personality and Intuition ..., I have had serveral good dogs but none were like this DECEMBER . No bad habits , NEVER has created a mess ( she comes in the house at nite during winter monthes ) Great with children , And good with letting Us know when someone has pulled in the lane , Handles cattle fine and Minds if I call her down ,, She has a Radar ALERT for the sound of the Cherokee my Wife drives doesnt Matter If she comes from any of 3 directions , If You Watch DECEMBER closely , One can always tell 3 minutes before Sara pulls in the drive ....And that JEEP is not loud!... We Truly FEEL BLESSED To have her for Our evening guest in front of the fireplace.......
