I don't think your belt pulley is much different than mine on my F30. I did take the packing out of mine and cleaned it with gas but the real solution was to tighten the nut. My pulley was spinning too freely before and I tightened it just enough to add drag that stops it in one to two revolutions if I hand spin it. I have not one drop leak in the six months after I did it.
