Ive got a neighbour who had 75 head of beef cattle and two tractors with no front-end loaders. All the chores you need a loader he used a loader bucket on the back of his tractor, the bottom links lifted the bucket up and down and a hydrolic cylinder in replace of the top link was used to tip and curl the bucket, it worked, let me tell you it worked. it was great for carring loads in the back and being able to see while driving forward, but i thought it was a pain in the rear for loading the manure spreader, he made a ramp that he backed up to dump into the manure spreader. I think a hydrolic cylinder would work as a top link, just be a little akward at first, having to jump in the tractor seat to always adjust the lenght when you hooking up. get off, too long, get on, get off, now to short. I think thats the reason all the tractors arn't sold like this, just a big P.I.T.A
