Seems like everything else on the old Versatiles was an off-the-shelf part used on something else.
I wonder what the brake caliper might have been from???
Is that a different part # than the D-145 brakes??
I like the old Versatiles, too. I've got a nice old D-145 & Dad still farms with my old 895.
We had my old 895 in the shop one time and they did a bunch of minor things to it. But they also messed with the brakes... With so much power, you couldn't even feel them dragging. My brother brought fired it up and made a lap around the field with it - and promptly set it on fire from some tumbleweeds getting caught up under there against that dragging brake. It turned the brake disc completely blue... :(
