I fought with myself about quiting for several years finally after a bout with pneumonia, Bronchitis, and emphysema I got the message that I was going to quit one way or another and would just as soon it be on my terms. Its been three years and can honestly say after 3 days any withdrawal is in your head and can be overcome. Gain weight- yeah some but there again nobody is forcing the food into my mouth its my choice the same as smoking or drinking. Boils down to personal responsibility.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
