mdjd4020[/quote]The operator s manual says to pull the throttle back to close and then advance it forward. It s supposed to "set" the governor for starting, whatever that means.
This setting of throttle on 4430's with inj pump "warm" lets the rack inside pump advance to starting position. If manual aneroid is worn it helps to manually set it also but this requires one to walk around on RH side.
On hard starting 4230 overhaul kit and re-work head will help starting.
