I am not filled with a sense of entitlement I am filled with a sense of Ironey ! The residential building industry recieves huge, although indirect, subsidies in the form of HUD loans, mortgages backed by Salley Mae and Fredy Mac, (the US taxpayers) and what is probably the bigest subsidy of them all, the home interest tax deduction. Without that stuff your clients would by almost none of the houses you build! The residential construction industry calling out commidity agriculture is definately a case of the pot calling the kettle black. You can't pretend that the result of government policy, nearly zero percent effective interest rates and loans for everybody hasn't messed up your industry.
The other ironey, around here, the guys recieving the biggest government checks, the biggest pigs at the government trough, are the ones screaming loudest about the health care reform.
That was the point I was trying to make.
