TommyD; actually, the purchaser should have paid more attention to the salesman! The dealer did go over the control operation and I remembered most of what he said. New Holland can not be faulted. I am pleased with the whole transaction and would have no problem recommending the dealer. However; I was going from a tractor with three speeds forward to one with 16 forward & 16 back, to power this and auto that, from open straddle to comfort cab. Frankly, the options are overwhelming and I simply was asking for a bit of clarification by my initial post. To all NH Dealers on here - I am very pleased with service & delivery! The tractor is absolutely amazing, especially in such a compact package. Anyone in the market for lots of hp, 4wd and enclosed cab needs to look at this model. However, still wonder why no down-pressure.
